Free Film Screenings during Art Beat 2014

The River Bend Film Festival and Mid America Filmmakers will present local and festival short films throughout the day which will repeat in an hour loop during South Bend’s annual Art Beat event. Website: www.artbeatsouthbend.org  The event and screenings run Noon-8 p.m. on Saturday, Auguest 16. The state Theater and our booths are located at 214 1/2 S Michigan St South Bend, Indiana 46601. The content will be PG rated and are listed down below in the order that they will screen. So stop on by and see us and find out more about independent filmmaking in Michiana!

    MISSION STATEMENT
    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
