Screenwriters’ Group
On the second of Tuesday of the month, a fun group of screenwriters meet and critique each other’s scripts. Each writer is allowed to bring a maximum of 10 pages for review. They also do staged readings at the MAF Screenings. Another activity is the $100 Movie Club where those attending the Group are asked to throw spare change and bills into a bucket. Once $100 is accumulated, the group selects a short film that is written by one of its members and is made over a weekend. It’s a no-pressure film shoot!
