Meetings
We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm, at the St Joseph County Public Library located in downtown South Bend, IN. (The library is located at 304 S. Main Street South Bend, Indiana 46601) Non-members are welcome, and please note that we normally meet in one of the meeting rooms on the lower floor of the Library (check back on the MAF website to see which room we’ll be in, or just stop and ask at the front desk). It is quite an eclectic group and ranges in age from 17 to 82 years.
A MAF Salon/Meeting evening starts with a quick and efficient meeting that lasts for an hour, at the very most. Next, everyone breaks into a Salon and networks. It’s very informal group and there are conversations on film projects, acting, screenwriting, or even the latest favorite film release. You can stay as long as you wish! If you come to a third Salon/Meeting, we graciously ask that you join MAF.

MAF Mission Statement
Mid America Filmmakers brings the art of film to mid America (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This is achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance to residents of mid America who recognize noncommercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
