Sept. 2 MAF Meeting “Moving up the Ladder in Film Acting”

For our next MAF meeting, Ed Ernstes will talk about his experience in film acting that involves landing supporting or lead roles with dialogue — that is the next step up from gaining a lot of experience from extra work before hand. Ed will also talk about paid acting gigs (in this case in Chicago for movies, TV series, and TV pilots) as an extra and what to do and what to expect. At last count he has been in the neighborhood of around 18 (and counting) film projects during the last 8 years.

MAF meetings are the 1st Tuesday of each month at WNIT TV studios at 300 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601 at 7:00 pm.

This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
