MAF meetings are the 1st Tuesday of each month at WNIT TV studios. Free and open to the public!

Melqui Rodriguez Started his career as a sports photographer for a news paper in Kansas while attending college. After graduating with a communication degree moved to South Bend. He started AVM studio in 2003 and has been doing live production/corporate events/TV commercials/weddings and independent films ever since.

His talk will cover everything from choosing the right gear for the project to how to develop good communication with your DP and get a project done efficiently.

    MISSION STATEMENT
    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
