Aug. MAF Meeting on August 11 – NOT on 1st Tuesday this month

This is a reminder that our August MAF meeting will be held the SECOND Tuesday, Aug. 11 just for this month due to other things going on at WNIT on the first Tuesday. This meeting the MAF screenwriters will meet on the THIRD Tuesday, Aug. 18 at Old National Bank.

    MISSION STATEMENT
    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.

    MAF Salons/meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at WNIT in South Bend, Indiana at 7:00 p.m. EST .
