Steve Toepp, owner of Midwest Photographics, will be giving a presentation on video production Lighting. Topics (and some demonstrations) that will be covered will be lighting issues for pre-production and location/ studio production including: “Quality” of light, Light design, Control of ambient light,
Color and it’s effects, Cost & time efficient lighting, Lighting terminology, safety, and maintenance,

Steve is a graduate of Columbia College, Chicago in 1984. He started Midwest Photographics in 1985 as a commercial/ advertising still photography studio with a sideline of location event photography. In 2006 he went back to school to earn a degree in Film/Video. His studio now works in multiple media (Still photography, video, audio and graphic design).

This free and open to the public presentation will take place immediately following our regular monthly Mid America Filmmakers meeting which begins at 7:00 p.m. You are welcome to join us for both.
