Screenshot (1844)Our next Mid America Filmmakers meeting will take place Tue., Jan. 3 @ 7 p.m. EST.  MAF meetings are at WNIT 300 West Jefferson Boulevard South Bend, Indiana 4660. Meetings are always open to the public. Our guest presenter is Kali Beauty, the writer/director behind the locally produced short film IT’S OKAY. She will discuss the writing process and creation of the film. Kali has a BFA in Film & Television from DePaul University.

    MISSION STATEMENT
    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
