It is also our annual membership drive and renewals for our 501C3 Mid America Filmmakers. It is $10 regular or $8 for students. Current memberships expire Oct. 1. You can join/renew and pay online at http://www.midamericafilmmakers.org/join/
BENEFITS OF MAF MEMBERSHIP:

  • ·Extensive networking in filmmaking, screenwriting, and acting, networking opportunities in Indiana, Michigan and the Midwest.
  • ·Receive regular MAF newsletter via email.
  • ·Membership fees help support MAF actors list, casting calls, mailings, mentoring, education, regional screenings, and other marketing costs.
  • ·MAF is a 501C3 nonprofit organization.
  • ·Free entry to select MAF screenings
  • ·Fiscal sponsorship for your filmmaking or film-related activity if applying for a grant
  • ·Eligibility to partake in the MAF sponsored $100 movie project
  • -Eligibility to vote for MAF officers

    MISSION STATEMENT
    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.

    MAF Salons/meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at WNIT in South Bend, Indiana at 7:00 p.m. EST .
