ABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKER: In high school, using his mother’s camera, Ricky Wilson Jr. would record short videos with his friends and post them on YouTube. However; it wasn’t until five years later, after an associates degree in business and dropping out of college before getting a bachelor’s, did he discover that he wanted to pursue the life of film.

In 2015, Ricky received the opportunity as an extra on set of Brave New Jersey, fueling his passion for the film industry. When he wasn’t acting, he would go on to using his musical background to work with sound departments on various short films; from operating the boom to helping create Foley and mix and mastering the sound.

Now Ricky has resumed the passion he had in high school for making his own videos, directing two short films in the last year. He hopes to one day meet his idols; Quentin Tarantino and Seth Rogen.

We have brand new posters, souvenirs, and t-shirts and other movie goodies available from popular movies which were generously donated (See some of them in our Facebook event photo)

We will keep bidding low to start with and hopefully give everyone a chance to leave with something. Bring some cash ($1′s and $5′s perhaps) and we’ll have change as well on hand. All money raised will go directly towards MAF, a 501c3 organization and help us with operating costs. We are an all-volunteer organization. THANK YOU!
