Heartland Truly Moving Pictures expands its annual Festival Education Seminar with this one-day event designed for aspiring filmmakers at any level. Playwright and screenwriter John Pielmeier shares his experience in storytelling. About John Pielmeier

Pielmeier’s selected plays include the Broadway productions Agnes of God and The Boys of Winter; he wrote the film adaptation of Agnes of God and has produced over twenty films for television. His latest four – a new adaptation of Sybil with Jessica Lange and Tammy Blanchard, an adaptation of The Memory Keeper’s Daughter with Emily Watson, Gretchen Mol, and Dermot Mulroney, Chasing The Devil, a miniseries about the Green River Killer starring Tom Cavanagh, and an adaptation of Gifted Hands , the Ben Carson story – will air on TV in 2008. He is married to playwright/poet Irene O’Garden. They live in Garrison, New York.
