South Bend, Indiana – Mid America Filmmakers presents an annual evening of locally produced films and screenplays on Wednesday, August 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the beautiful Vickers Theatre located at 6 N. Elm St.Three Oaks, MI 49128.

Admission is free, though a $5 optional donation would be appreciated.

The night will consist of a series of locally produced short films from the Michiana area along with a Q&A session with attending filmmakers. Wine and other refreshments will be offered following the event.

Tailgate Party in the Wal-Mart Parking Lot” by Les Nemeth (South Bend) Country music at its best

Benevolent Banana” by Michel Kouroubetes (South Bend) One brave, righteous banana, brazenly battles lawlessness in River City. His ultimate purpose: defeat the evil dictator!

Shrinks” Gregg Brown & Janna Kruse (New York) Five Shrinks, one neurotic patient. A comedy about mental health.
