MAF Virtual Staged Reading & Screening 7pm July 14

The evening will begin with a staged reading of eight 5-page short scripts created by our MAF screenwriters group and you’ll get to vote for which one gets $100 to be made into a short film. After the readings, we’ll screen a number of local and regional short films (titles TBA) followed by a live Zoom Q&A with the filmmakers.

    MISSION STATEMENT
    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
