MAF April 7 Meeting – Topic “All About Film Festivals”

MAF meetings are the 1st Tuesday of each month at WNIT TV studios. Free and open to the public!

From the River Bend Film Festival, Jordon Hodges (Director of Programming) and Tim Richardson (Festival Director) will share their knowledge both from the perspective of film festival organizers, as well as filmmakers who have been to many film festivals. Learn about what to think about when creating your film, festival do’s and don’t, matching festivals to your film, budgeting for festivals, and attending festivals.

    MISSION STATEMENT
    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
