LOCAL FEATURE FILM PREMIERE AT SHOWPLACE 16 JAN. 18

INDIANA-INVITEHollywood comes to Michiana — You’re invited to a movie premiere:

Goshen, Indiana native Jordon Hodges, who starred in the 2014 Indiana based film SAND CASTLES, is set to have the premiere of his next feature film THE SHADE SHEPHERD on January 18th at AMC 16 in South Bend @ 7PM. It was filmed fully on location in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. Majority of it taking place in LaGrange County.  The film stars Jordon Hodges, Randy Spence, Caroline Newton and Brett Baker.  Many local actors and locations make an appearance in the film.  Anyone in the area is who wants to attend should grab a ticket here sooner than later: www.theshadeshepherd.com/indiana — The filmmakers say there will be a red carpet if you would like some photos, along with a Q&A after the movie with some of the cast & crew. “a perfect date night!”
Some LaGrange locations that it was in include: Lewis & Lambright, Der Ruhe Blatz Motel, Trading Post, Howe Military Academy & downtown LaGrange — Ryan Riegsecker of Blue Gate Restaurant & Bakery provided the land to shoot the forest scenes in and catering.
The Shade Shepherd Logline: An adventure set in the late 80s, a psychiatrist leads his junkie older brother towards the Canadian border to escape a murder charge.
The Shade Shepherd had its world premiere at the prestigious Newport Beach International Festival in Newport Beach, CA earlier this year and is set for release in mid to late 2020.
The film was also written by Hodges along with the film’s director Chris Faulisi. — Hodges was born and raised in the area before living in Los Angeles. He graduated from Northridge High School in 2005
