IMG_0469MAF meetings are at 7pm on the 1st Tuesday of each month at WNIT TV studios at 300 W Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, Indiana 46601. Free and open to the public! Each meeting includes a Making Movie Magic presentation after our order of business.

Join award-winning filmmaker Tim Richardson and some of his cast and crew of THE THROBBIT to watch a behind the scenes documentary about the creation of this feature-length spoof of the effects-heavy HOBBIT trilogy. Followed by a Q&A.

    MISSION STATEMENT
    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking. This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance (via grants) to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.
