Chantelle Casey of the American Model and Talent Agency in South Bend, Indiana is putting forth a casting call for a TV pilot to be filmed at WNIT studios in Elkhart, Indiana.  Interested parties are asked to forward their resume and headshots to Chantelle at ccasey@americanmodelandtalent.com for consideration for the auditions set to be scheduled at a later date.

These will be paying roles, and they are non-union.

The producers are looking for a variety of parts, as well as the lead roles of Lisa and Max Devereaux, who will need to have great chemistry, and should be comfortable performing in some “passionate” scenes (similar to those found in soap operas).

THE STORY:
The story of Cast On, Bet’s Off  focuses on Lisa and Max Devereaux, co-owners of the warm and wondrous Sit & Knit yarn shop, set in a red brick home once owned by a bootlegger. Life may seem idyllic in the quaint resort village of Indigan, but Indigan’s residents are evenly divided about the benefits of the Camaga Tribe Casino about to be built on the outskirts of the resort village. However, when Gunther Hoffman – owner of the construction company that seemingly had a lock on the building contract – is found on the beach, lying spread eagle, murdered by a pair of size 19 Addi Turbo knitting needles, everyone suddenly has a new topic of interest.  Before long, Lisa and Max find themselves drawn into the murder mystery, and much more….

This is a story love, greed, hatred, friendship and twisted desires. As they labor to unravel the mystery, Lisa and Max encounter a threat to their own home, an FBI Agent who is strongly attracted to Lisa, and the powerful owner of a nearby casino hell-bent on stopping construction of the Camaga Tribe Casino. Filled with twists, turns and a long list of suspects, nothing can prepare Lisa, Max or you for the riveting ending to CAST ON, BET’S OFF.

FURTHER INFO:
Cast On, Bet’s Off is the first of two one hour episodes to be filmed.  The intention is that the second episode will be shot concurrently with the first.
