    MISSION STATEMENT

    To bring the art of film to “Mid America” (Indiana and bordering states) by expanding awareness of and interest in the social and cultural impact of independent filmmaking.

    This will be achieved by providing educational, creative and financial assistance to residents of Mid America who recognize non-commercial film as an important art form through which ideas are expressed, and by awarding grants and providing fiscal sponsorship for film projects that would not otherwise be possible.

A New Year and new officers for MAF!

Greetings all!  Hope you are all starting off the new year well.  Here at MAF we’ve started off the new year by electing 2 new officers.

For Vice President, congrats go to Jessica Stone!  And for Secretary, congrats to David Boyer!  Welcome to the elite ruling council of MAF, where you will find out all of MAF’s deepest darkest secrets (we’re actually ruled by Trolls who live in Tim Richardson’s basement disguised as Mr Potato Head dolls.  Really, its true.)
