Happy New Year!

We had a great meeting Tuesday night with several new guests and a good turn out of members. We held elections for the newly open offices of President, Vice President, and Treasurer.  And the new officers are:

President – Tim Richardson. Tim has been involved in MAF for almost a decade as Secretary, President, and Marketing & Education Chair. He is a filmmaker and  director of the River Bend Film Festival.

Vice President – Trisha Miller. Trisha has been involved in MAF many years and has served as Treasurer and Screening Chair.  She is Marketing Chair for the River Bend Film Festival and has worked on many local film productions.

Treasurer – Darann Pontius. Darann recently joined MAF and has been a supporter of local filmmaking for several years, and is currently planning  a documentary about paranormal activity.  She is also involved in the River Bend Film Festival as a Screener and Treasurer.

Congratulations to our new officers and a special THANK YOU to our outgoing President Scott Dokey and Treasurer Melissa Chapman. Your service for the past two years has been outstanding!
