The location for the MAF meeting on April 1st, 2008 will be in the Molloy Room at the St. Joseph Public Library at 7:00 PM. The Molloy Room is located downstairs in the library, and can be found here. The library is located at 304 South Main, South Bend, IN 46601. So don’t be a fool (an April Fool, that is) and go to the wrong place!  We’ll see you all there!

The MAF Actors List has been updated to an actual e-mail list that anyone interested in receiving the e-mails can subscribe to without the head of the Actors Committee having to send out e-mails to multiple addresses.  If you are interested in subscribing or unsubscribing to the Actors List, visit the Actors tab here on the MAF website.

One note of caution, however, is that anyone sending an e-mail to the list sends it to everyone on the list, so be careful what you send and to whom you send it.  Abusers of the list will be removed from the list and banned from further postings.

TicTock Studios of Holland, Michigan is en route to becoming Michigan’s leading production company, with a feature by a major screenwriter in the works, and the addition of a top level executive producer.

Jeffrey Stott, former EVP of Castle Rock Entertainment, will help to further advance bringing the motion picture industry to Michigan, said TicTock CEO Hopwood DeDree.

Stott’s first challenge will be to help launch TicTock’s new film crew training program held at Grand Rapids Community College Lakeshore Campus, a series of two-week classes aimed at redirecting Michigan’s unemployed resident to employable production skills.
